Singapore Airlines Limited is going to launch the world’s longest distance flight by the month of October this year. These flights will take a 19-hour non-stop trip from Singapore to New Jersey. Qatar Airways is currently the world’s longest commercial flight, which travels from Doha to Auckland. A non-stop flight of 161 seats will cover 15,329 kilometers. This flight will be named A350-900ULR. It will also facilitate business class as well as premium economy seats.
SIA CEO Goh Chun Fong said that “We are planning to pursue such non-stop flights using the new technology, ultra-long-range Airbus A350-9 00ULR and are very happy with it.” The service of Singapore Airlines Limited will begin on October 18. According to the information provided by SIA, tickets for this flight will start selling on Thursday. Tickets will be sold from different booking channels.
